A FEW WORDS FROM US
A Taste of Tradition in the Heart of Little Italy
At the end of the 19th century, waves of Italian immigrants arrived in Lower Manhattan, bringing with them the heart and soul of the Old Country. My grandparents often spoke of those early days when Mulberry Street became the lifeblood of a new Italian neighborhood. Soon, there were more Italians in New York than in Rome, and Little Italy began to flourish—a community rich in culture, flavors, and traditions.
Today, at Casa Bella Restaurant, the spirit of those early days lives on. For three generations, our family has preserved the customs that make Little Italy extraordinary. When you arrive, you’ll know it by the enticing aromas that fill the air—the sizzle of Italian sausages, the sweet tang of tomato sauce simmering to perfection, and the warm, inviting scent of fresh-baked bread.
Our restaurant transports you to the Mediterranean with its elegant décor, soft lighting, and music that greets you at the door. Whether it’s Wall Street workers, neighborhood locals, or visitors from afar, everyone feels at home here, gathered around our lively bar and greeted by our warm and attentive staff.
Our menu is a celebration of Italian culinary artistry. From pasta, risotto, and wood-fired pizzas to signature dishes like Linguine Vongole, Calamari Fritti, and our chef’s renowned Roast Rack of Lamb or Stuffed Veal Chop Valdostana, every dish is made with care. We offer an array of fresh seafood, vegetarian specialties, and gluten-free options, as well as indulgent pastries and a thoughtfully curated wine list.
On sunny days, enjoy your meal al fresco on our charming patio, taking in the vibrant energy of Mulberry Street. I’m Bitsie Gallo, proprietor of Casa Bella Restaurant. If there’s anything I can do to make your visit exceptional, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Grazie mille, and we look forward to welcoming you to our table!
